Learn how to cook our famous plăcinte (traditional local pies), sarmale (meat, rice and vegetables rolls in cabbage leaves) and other traditional dishes. The host will share her recipes and help you make your first moldovan dish!

Tours
Tours (by foot or by bicycle) include visits to the surrounding caves, monasteries, walks through the village Trebujeni and the neighboring village of Butuceni. This is a great way to discover our our history, traditions and customs.If you want to visit other places in Moldova, we will help you find transportation and a guide, if needed.

Biking
Discover the area on two wheels! You can cover more ground and burn some calories on the way! We have 10 bikes available for our guests.

Local Customs
Partake in decorating eggs, baking cookies at Christmas and other traditions. Each tradition is deeply rooted in our ancestor’s beliefs. For example, decorating eggs for Easter is an old Moldovan custom symbolizing love for the Creator. Craftsmen ornament eggs by hand, using natural dyes and illustrating ancestral pictograms.

Horse Carriage Rides
Ride through the Trebujeni village in a traditional horse carriage. This used to be a precious means of transportation and is still used for household tasks that involve heavy loads or trade between villages.
